Flavour Notes - Stone fruit, sweet, wine-like, creamy and smooth
This is a delicious hybrid varietal, combining Bourbon and Typica sources of the Arabica coffee lineage. The red-honeyed process means that most of the sticky coffee cherry flesh (mucilage) is left on the beans as they are dried. This creates a fruity, fuller-bodied coffee than washed process coffees, as the sugars from the flesh are allowed to absorb into the beans as they dry.
This coffee is suitable for espresso, due to its full body and flavour, but should also be enjoyed as a pour over to appreciate the breadth of flavour that it holds.
