Mount Sunzu Farm uses solar-powered irrigation, processes coffee on-site, and supports biodiversity through beekeeping, to help combat the deforestation that has happened through selling of charcoal.
 
The Starmaya varietal is an F1 Hybrid, that can be grown by seed. It has carefully been selected for its exceptional flavour, as well as its natural resistance to crop disease, and can grow in warmer climates at lower altitudes, and it has a higher crop yield than one of its parent plant varietals, the Marsellesa.
